Tented Camp is a stunning tented camp situated at the Ngorongoro Tropical Forest edge. The tented camp is found in northern Tanzania just 10 kilometers of scenic driving from the main road from the lively commercial Karatu town centre to the renowned Ngorongoro Crater.
They offer Full plus half board accommodation.
Accommodation
Crater Forest Tented Camp is operated as an eco-friendly small scale lodge with 15 tented rooms, all under thatch and on platforms, with magnificent views over the Ngorongoro Forest.
The spacious rooms have inside bathrooms having hot showers plus toilets. On chilly nights enjoy your private African fashioned firepot. Awaken to the sounds of the forest as the night filled with nocturnal animal activities gives away to dimly morning sunlight.

There are15 spacious tented rooms beneath thatch, with ensuite facilities

The bar plus Restaurant at Crater Forest serve wonderful dishes together with a variety of drinks such as beers, wines and spirits worth trying out.

Coffee Estate Tour:
because this lodge is found on a coffee farm, they can organize a guided tour across the coffee plantation which is a fascinating change at the end of your game viewing. You will observe the growing of coffee, its harvesting and processing at this estate factory. Furthermore you will have a chance to enjoy a cup of freshly brewed coffee.
Forest Walks:
these are escorted by a NCAA ranger for security purposes. You may choose to walk from this tented camp up to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area forest. You will be rewarding with amazing views of animals elephants and buffaloes in their natural surroundings
