Safari Overview
This 4 days safari Ngorongoro begins and ends in Tanzania, giving you a great opportunity to visit some of the country’s most famous National parks, they include; the Ngorongoro crater which lies within the Ngorongoro Conservation Area a UNESCO Heritage Site, it is located about 180km from Arusha town and lots of wildlife is viewed there such as Hippos, black rhinos, cape buffaloes, blue wildebeests, topis, waterbucks, crocodiles, African leopards and the impalas.
This same safari will take you to the Lake Manyara; a park well located with a shallow and huge Soda lake found in the Rift valley’s bottom. You will also visit one of the country’s largest parks called Tarangire which covers an area of 2,850sqkm, its landscape is stunning covered with high grasses, baobab trees and dense bushes and here lots of animals like the waterbucks, elephants, giraffes, climbing lions, baboons are found.

Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Set off to Tarangire 
After a hefty breakfast and immediately depart for Tarangire where you will have a full day game drive inside the park. The park has great landscape covered with around 9 vegetation zones. Also river Tarangire is a highlight as it flows through the park and hence also attracts thousands of wildlife which come for water such as the lions, buffaloes, elephants, zebras, giraffes, antelopes and also different beautiful bird species.
Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park as you still have great sights of the river and animals everywhere, in the afternoon continue with the game drive after which you will head to your lodge and check in, have dinner and an overnight there.

Day 2: Leave Tarangire for Lake Manyara
Enjoy an early morning breakfast your lodge and leave Tarangire for Lake Manyara, there you will also enjoy a full day of game viewing. The park also covers an area of 325sqkm and is covered with beautiful acacia forests and mahogany trees, it also harbors over 400 bird species and wild animals like giraffes, baboons, impalas, buffaloes, hippos, elephants as well as the climbing lions.
You will have your lunch within the park and proceed with game drive spotting amazing landscapes plus the flamingos. Later drive to the lodge of your choice for inner and overnight.

Day 3: Drive to Ngorongoro Crater
Have breakfast and you will be transferred to the world’s largest volcanic caldera also a natural wonder called the Ngorongoro crater covering an area of 260sqkm and about 2,000ft deep. Here you will see various wildlife species such as the elephants, black rhinos, lions also the amazing birds. There are also forests with open plains, flamingos are also not to miss out.
You will also descend to the bottom of the crater to have a more detailed view of wildlife such as the birds and hippos, have a picnic lunch and later drive out of the crater floor to the your lodge.

Day 4: Cultural visit in the Oldonyo Sambu Maasai Community & Hunting 
After an early breakfast, head out for hunting with the Bushmen who stay around Lake Eyasi. After that visit the Maasai community called Oldonyo Sambu; interestingly this village is located just about 40km from Arusha. You will have a great time exploring the culture in this area as a local guide will take you around to see the different life style of the people, their dressing code, dances, songs, cooking, way of studying, how they take care of their cattle among other exciting activities.
Ensure you take as many photos as you want and that evening your driver will transfer you back to Arusha to your hotel or at the Airport.
