Gibb’s Farm

Gibb’s Farm is located approximately one mile from the huge internationally famed wildlife sanctuary- the Ngorongoro Conservation Area that covers a total expanse of 3200 sq mile. Ideally located, this Farm is found half-way the distance between the stunning Lake Manyara National Park and the Ngorongoro Crater near Karatu village.

The facility was built in 1929, and surprisingly, this Farmhouse has pretty much not changed at all, and has maintained its beauty of a nicely kept and properly managed private-house. The comfy living rooms in addition to the reading corners are simply a couple of steps from the attractive dining area, bar and gift shop.

The Farmhouse has lots of Fireplaces which maintain the place warm and also preserve the historical elegance. Just outside, the large verandah together with the flowery gardens present you with sweeping views of the green valley beneath this nice Farm.

Gibb’s Farm provides an homely stay during the safari, in addition to a base from which guest can enjoy the numerous activities available in and around the  Ngorongoro Crater, in the Ngorongoro Forest, as well as in the nearby  National Parks such as Lake Manyara.

Gibb’s Farm is the perfect place to stay when planning to explore the breathtaking natural environment; take guided walks to the adjacent waterfall or even take short guided bird watching tours.
